Port Hueneme Police Department – Incident Press Release
At approximately 7:50 PM the Port Hueneme Police Dispatch Center received several calls in reference to an altercation in the 100 block of Seaspray Way. Responding Officers were advised that the altercation involved an axe/hatchet type weapon. Officers arrived within two minutes and located three victims suffering from serious wounds. Numerous fire and ambulance units were requested to assist with providing emergency medical aid to the victims. Once on scene, Officers immediately located the suspect, identified as Gregory Brewer (31-year-old Port Hueneme resident), and took him into custody without incident.
The victims are all residents of Port Hueneme and live in the Anacapa Beach Homes complex. One victim is listed in critical condition with significant head injuries, while the other two victims are listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing and will continue throughout the night. There are no outstanding suspects or victims at this time. If anyone has information about this incident please contact the Port Hueneme Police Department at 805-986-6530.

Talk about literally burying the hatchet.. Geez was he a Democrat ?
He just might be a Democrat. I am one of the victims. He came to kill us that’s a fact. But did not Succeed. But he well probably do life for his un successful mission or should I say ambush. He picked the wrong people to try to KILL that’s for sure !!
Port Hueneme Police knew for months about this guy and did nothing. Many neighbors told the police that he was a ticking time bomb and nothing was done. Like, any other departments they are reactive vs proactive and now look, 3 people were seriously injured.

Yes he is Failure Because we’re still alive!! He came to kill us and his Mission AKA ambush failed we prevailed we will pay for it for the rest Of our lives but at least we are alive to talk about it. Because when A MF is coming at you with a Mid evil Hatchet Razor sharp trying to kill you it is a little scary. Alot scary I can not lie.
You are absolutely correct about that ! As did many people told the HOA about him. Also Many people told the owner of the home he lived in . Who’s the Grandfather of the girlfriend where he lives. No body did anything. Now one man is Paralyzed my youngest son is losing half his ear. And I have some life long injuries myself. So much for Protect and serve. Funny thing is is about a month ago he walked up into my garage uninvited unannounced after I told him to leave I went to the port Huemme PD told a couple of officers about the incident. I told them if they didn’t do anything something badd was going to happen their answer was if he does it again call us My answer to that if he does it again my wife will call you because I’ll be dead and that is almost happened. But he’s Ambush failed we Prevailed.
