Big Tech Companies war with President Trump, GOP over Hunter Biden, Burisma

    By Michael Hernandez

NEW YORK—Three Big Tech companies led by Twitter, Facebook and Wikipedia declared war on President Trump, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany  and the GOP House Judiciary by locking their Twitter accounts for linking the New York Times Post (Oct. 14) story on how Hunter Biden introduced a Ukrainian businessman working for Burisma to Vice President Joe Biden in May and October, 2014—less than a year before the Vice President pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company.

The Oct. 14 bombshell story which details the Biden family’s business dealing in Ukraine was immediately suppressed by both Facebook and Twitter yesterday with Wikipedia citing the New York Post established in 1801 by Federalist and Founding Father Alexander Hamilton as an “unreliable source” in September and downgrading Fox News in July. Wikipedia has either downgraded or outright banned numerous conservative news outlets, including Breitbart News in recent years.

The New York Post scoop came after emails were obtained from a laptop allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden that show Burisma pushing Hunter to help them gain access to his father who was in charge of Ukraine policy under President Barack Obama. The computer was dropped off at a repair shop in Biden’s home state of Delaware in April, 2019 according to the store’s owner.

Other material extracted from the computer includes a 12-minute video that appears to show Hunter, smoking crack while engaged in a sex act with an unidentified woman as well as numerous other sexually explicit images.

The customer who brought in the water-damaged MacBook Pro for repair never paid for the service or retrieved it or a hard drive on which its contents were stored, according to the shop owner. The laptop bore a sticker from the Beau Biden Foundation, named after Hunter’s late brother and former Delaware attorney general.

The computer and the hard drive were seized by the FBI in December after the shop’s owner says he alerted the feds to their existence. However, before turning over the computer, the shop owner says he made a copy of the hard drive and later gave it to former Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello.

Steve Bannon, former adviser to President Trump, told The Post about the existence of the hard drive in late September and Giuliani provided The Post with a copy of it on Sunday.

Vice President Joe Biden has bragged (on video) of pressuring President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk into getting rid of Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin by threatening to withhold a one billion U.S. loan guarantee during a December, 2015 trip to Kiev. “I looked at them and said: ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’” said Biden to the Council on Foreign Relations in 2018. “Well, son of a bitch. He got fired.”

Shokin was investigating Burisma and all members of the executive board, including Hunter Biden. An email dated May 12, 2014 (shortly after Hunter Biden joined the Burisma board—despite a lack of experience in the energy industry) shows Vadim Pozharskyi, a top executive for Burisma, attempting to get Hunter and his business partner, Devon Arches, who also sat on the Burisma board at the time,  to use his political leverage to help the company.

“Who is ultimately behind these attacks on the company?” wrote Hunter Biden. “Who in the current interim government could put an end to such attacks?” Burisma then placed Hunter in charge of its legal unit.

“Was it wrong for (Hunter) to take that position, knowing that it was really because that company wanted access to you,” asked NBC’s “Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie to Joe Biden on a Feb. 3 interview. “Well, that’s not true. You’re saying things you do not know what you’re talking about,” said Joe Biden.

Twitter and Facebook executives join Biden Team

What does Carlos Monje and Jessica Hertz have in common?

Carlos Monje is the former Twitter Public Policy Director that left the social media company to join the transition team for Joe Biden. He will serve as co-chair of Biden’s infrastructure policy committee and has already hosted a fundraiser for Biden this week. He previously served as the director of agency review on the team preparing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s administration during the 2016 election and also worked on President Barack Obama’s 2008 national security working group.

Facebook Executive Jessica Hertz is serving as general counsel for ethical issues on Joe Biden’s transition team.  Hertz is responsible for “enforcement, oversight, and compliance.”

President Donald Trump: ‘Big Tech” censoring the NY Post to save Joe Biden

“You see what is going on with Big Tech, censoring these stories to try and get Joe Biden out of this impossible jam,” said President Donald Trump. “He’s in a big jam. He and his family are crooked and they got caught and now they’re being protected by Big Tech.

“If Big Tech persists in coordination with the mainstream media, we must immediately strip them of Section 230 protections. It’s very simple. We’re going to take away their Section 230 unless they shape up.”

Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act allows internet companies to avoid liability for content posted by users on their platform.

Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai announced today that he will move forward with a rulemaking that would clarify Section 230 as public officials expressed concerns about Big Tech’s legal immunity.

“Social media companies do not have a First Amendment right to a special immunity denied to other media outlets, such as newspapers and broadcasters,” said Ajit Pai. He said that social media companies censor much more than Internet Service Providers such as Verizon or Comcast.

Twitter locks Team Trump, White House Press Secretary, House Judiciary

“I am going to say it more and more and Facebook and all can try and shut us down, but you know what? Everybody knows…(Joe Biden) he’s corrupt as hell and everybody knows it,” said President Trump.

The President’s response came after Twitter locked not only the accounts of New York Post staff members, but also the accounts of @Team Trump, an official Trump campaign account, as well as the Twitter account of White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany and the GOP House Judiciary. They each had posted links to the New York Post Biden expose. Twitter labeled links to the House Judiciary Committee website as “potentially unsafe.” The Senate Judiciary Committee responded by announcing plans to subpoena Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.

Joe Biden has previously said, “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”
