Commemorative Air Force’s Southern California Wing
Donating Hand-Made Wooden Toys to Spark of Love 2022

The Southern California Wing of the Commemorative Air Force will make some needy children happy at Christmas this year.

The museum’s wood shop has changed gears from making replacement parts for historical aircraft tomaking toy airplanes for the Ventura County Fire Department’s 2022 Spark of Love program. With the help of the museum, maintenance, and young cadet members, the volunteers have been shaping, gluing, sanding, and finishing wooden airplanes. The Commemorative Air Force’s Southern California Wing and its members are incredibly proud to be teaming up with VCFD and this worthy cause.
