Camarillo, California – The City of Camarillo imposes limitations on entertainment venues and mass gathering, including the use of City properties, consistent with California Department of Public Health (CDPH) guidance for prevention of COVID-19 transmission.
On March 16, 2020, City Manaqer Dave Norman, in his role as the City’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Director, issued EOC Director Order No. 20-1 for COVID-19 limitations on mass gatherings and entertainment venues.
Entertainment venues, including but not limited to, movie theaters and live performance theaters, are directed to comply with the CDPH guidance regarding entertainment venues.
All weddings and other gatherings scheduled, or to be scheduled, on any property owned by the City including, but not limited to the Camarillo Ranch, must either be postponed until after the Ventura county Public Health Officer finds that a local health emergency no longer exists, or limit attendance to less than 50 people and the take all precautions consistent with the CDC interim Guidance issued March 15, 2020.
