As you know, grocery store employees are working diligently to keep store shelves stocked, and have also increased the frequency of cleaning to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Many of you have probably wondered and are asking how best to keep yourself, fellow shoppers and grocery workers safe and healthy while shopping, so the California Grocery Association has created this great list for us to review.
Convenient and safe access to food and essential products at local grocery stores is more critical than ever during these uncertain times. The California Grocery Association continues to take steps to reassure consumers that grocery stores will remain open and that food and essential supplies remain plentiful through our “Buy Smart. Don’t Overfill Your Cart.” There is #Enough4All campaign. Getting shopping patterns back to normal and reducing stress on the distribution system can go a long way toward creating normalcy in our grocery stores.
Let’s all do our part!
