A special message from Honorary Consul Euclides de Morales of the General Consulate of Mexico in Oxnard encouraging our community to get vaccinated.
    COVID-19 Update

There are 30 new COVID-19 cases. There have been 5,673 new tests performed. There have been 0 additional deaths.

The current R-effective (average number of people each infected person will pass the virus onto and represents the rate at which COVID-19 is spreading) is .86 which means that spread of COVID-19 is likely decreasing; R-effective for CA is .90 right now.

COVID-19 vaccines are now available by walk-in! No appointment is required. There are locations offered throughout the County. Vaccine eligibility is now open to everyone 16 and older. You can also make an appointment at myturn.ca.govor 833-422-4255.

We value farmworkers in #VenturaCounty. Day in and day out, even during the pandemic and wildfires, farmworkers keep our food systems going. Farmworkers were among the first to get vaccinated in Ventura County and continue to encourage our community to protect each other.

    • Irma Sánchez (top left) “I got vaccinated to avoid getting myself and others sick.”
