We now live in the New Year, and yet, it is once again filled with the draconian horrors of the previous one. In case you are still puzzled why California, together with New York, Illinois, Oregon and other Democrat run states have doubled down on Covid 19 restrictions, let us examine these excesses from a historical perspective that features plenty of precedence.
Also, let us examine, with the same historical view, how a free people can become so enslaved by elites that they patiently sit by, following unscientific and unreasonable rules, laid upon them like the edicts of the Tsars, allowing their businesses to be destroyed.
As to the first point, the question must be asked, what does the complete closure of small and mid-sized businesses accomplish? Does it really prevent the spread of the dread virus? It does not. For we all know, as is documented daily by the thriving commerce at Costco, Home Depot, Trader Joe’s, Thriftway and other large grocery sores, the Post office and other “Mega Businesses,” Covid does not seem to impact their thriving businesses, nor does Covid get spread in their environs. So why are the only businesses affected by the ruthless shut downs, enforced by elitist governors who do not follow the rules cooked up by their party, the businesses of the middle class. They are small enterprises. Hair salons, nail parlors, restaurants, small groceries, small café`s, and small fitness centers that are forbidden to do business. Again, you might ask why? Why is this outrage allowed to be perpetrated against every construct of law placed in the constitution? Well, history shows there is solid reason behind the Democrat rule, a rule that other states, not ruled by the Democrat party are not following. However, if one remembers that this party now has become the home of Socialists and Communists, it all becomes clear.
For the Socialist/Communist class, one goal is uppermost on the agenda. However, for that goal to become reality, the middle class, the hated bourgeoisie, comprised of independent entrepreneurs, the religious groups, and the hangers-on to a historical culture that is daily combated by their “counter-culture,” it must be destroyed. Why must this class be destroyed? Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and other tyrants knew why. Because this pesky class cannot be easily controlled. The bottom of our society, or most other societies for that matter can be easily controlled with welfare benefits, food stamps, health care, social security and like government hand outs. The private businessman never relies on such fickle provisions, which can disappear in the blink of an eye.
The upper crust of society can be controlled by taxes and regulations, which make it impossible to do business. A great many of this elite group is already indoctrinated with the mindset of an international socialism, giving them power and control over trans-national businesses.
That leaves the middle class to be dealt with. History shows how. The middle class, or the Karl Marx reviled “Bourgeoisie,” was the largest problem for Lenin and Stalin during the October Revolution. They immediately replaced business and small land holders with their own operatives, who promptly ruined the establishments. Therefore, for many years after the revolution, it was almost impossible to obtain even the simplest items to maintain a semblance of normal life.
The National Socialists, faced with such problems, dealt with it differently. Germany’s middle class was comprised of German, and about just as many Jewish businesses. History taught us how Hitler’s National Socialists dealt with this middle class. Jewish businesses were eradicated almost over night. (Remember the Kristall Nacht!) With war preparations begun, the German businesses soon followed suit. Pol Pot herded the cultural and business class into the fields and shot them by millions. Mission accomplished.
Fidel Castro, disowned private businesses and ran them as state-owned companies. There, too, items needed to maintain normalcy of life are hard to obtain to this day.
Our own Socialist class on the march to rule this country, were handed a gift by the Chinese in the form of the Covid Virus. The same Chinese who eradicated their middle class during the cultural revolution.
Now let us address the second point of my article. Why do free people comply with the rules of elites? Rules that defy all common sense? The willingness with which millions of Americans accept unconstitutional, never before used restrictions of their freedom, and their ability to earn a living, is amazing, nay baffling. Have we been trained to act like sheep in our airports by the TSA? An administration that treats all of us like suspected criminals, instead of profiling for the real criminal types. Has the removal of our shoes and the patting down of our bodies rendered us incapable to understand how we are manipulated and controlled? We have been bit by bit trained to accept every control measure, no matter how demeaning, until now we accept the ruin of our businesses and lives.
If people will allow themselves to be quarantined until next fall, as the often fallacious Dr. Fauci predicts, most small middle class businesses will have ceased to exist.
