Death Sentence Restored For Terrorist That Sanders Wanted To See Voting

    WND, equity, rank and file

Sen. Bernie Sanders, while seeking the Democrat nomination for president in the last election, said convicted Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev should be allowed to vote for president.

Now the U.S. Supreme Court has reinstated the death penalty for the convicted murderer.

That decision, according to the Washington Examiner, came Friday on a 6-3 decision that Justice Clarence Thomas wrote.

The majority of the justices rejected the claims by the defense that a judge presiding over the 2015 trial improperly barred some questioning of prospective jurors and wrongly excluded some evidence.

Thomas’ opinion said, “Dzohkhar Tsarnaev committed heinous crimes. The Sixth Amendment nonetheless guaranteed him a fair trial before an impartial jury. He received one.”

Tsarnaev’s crime was planting and detonating two pressure-cooker bombs near the end of the 2013 marathon events. He was joined by his older brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who was killed in a clash with police at the time.

The bombing killed three people but hundreds more were wounded, and still suffer the damages and injuries from the attack to this day.

All three Democrat-appointed judges would have let the bomber off that penalty, claiming Tsarnaev should have been allowed to introduce evidence his older brother previously murdered three, as part of a claim he was “radicalized” by him.

The death penalty had been overturned by an appeals court in 2020 because of “procedural errors.” But the administration of President Donald Trump sent the case up to the Supreme Court to restore the punishment.

The outrageous idea from Sanders was described in a WND column from Adriana Cohen.

She noted Sanders’ demands at a CNN town hall back during the campaign that he wanted “to give voting rights to murderers, terrorists, rapists and other incarcerated felons.”

“This includes voting rights reinstated for Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, an anti-American convicted terrorist who committed an act of war against the United States and the city of Boston in 2013, placing pressure cooker bombs at the finish line – next to innocent children – killing an 8-year-old boy and two innocent civilians, and injuring 280,” she explained.

She explained according to Sanders’ “ultra-liberal ideology, that’s living up to ideals inherent in a democracy.”

Sanders had demanded: “If somebody commits a serious crime – sexual assault, murder – they are going to be punished. They may be in jail for 10 years, 20 years, 50 years, their whole lives. That is what happens when you commit a serious crime. But I think the right to vote is inherent to our democracy. Yes, even for terrible people.”

She noted, however, that the violence inflicted by the terrorists “ripped away from all the victims violently murdered by these heinous criminals – not to mention the loss of their precious lives and all of their rights as a result. Hard to fathom why any American – a U.S. presidential candidate, no less – would want to empower and reward hundreds of thousands of murderers and rapists currently doing time in American prisons with rights they stole from others.”

She said, “That’s real injustice: when victims who’ve been brutally murdered can’t vote but their assailants can.”

The Russians warned us about these Dagestan immigrants. The Russians knew they were trouble. But our government let them immigrant anyway. In this complete lapse of judgement leaps the useful idiot Bernie Sanders who thinks giving them the right to vote is a ‘swell idea’.

I know. tsarnaev was illegally allowed into our country under the GOP’s Bush administration. Can’t trust these Republicans to keep us safe AT ALL. They just usher in rapists and terrorists. Christ, they even let that immigrant POS Melania in. Frigging scared little losers.
