    VENTURA, California – District Attorney Gregory D. Totten, in continuing support of Domestic Violence Awareness month, announced today that there are several anonymous, confidential hotlines available 24/7 to help victims, offer support and provide resources.

     

    Whether it is an immediate crisis or a quick question, you can contact any of the following:

    National Domestic Violence Hotline at https://www.thehotline.org;

    Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline at https://www.childhelphotline.org;

    Ventura County Family Justice Center at https://www.vcfjc.org or call 805-652-7655;

    Dial 211 Ventura County or text 211;

    Child/Adult Abuse & Neglect Hotline at 805-654-3200;

    Coalition for Family Harmony Crisis Line at 800-300-2181; or

    Interface Children & Family Services Crisis Line at 800-636-6738.

     

    The Ventura County District Attorney’s Office is the public prosecutor for the county’s 850,000 residents. The office employs approximately 280 employees including attorneys, investigators, victim advocates, and other professional support staff who strive to seek justice, ensure public safety, and protect the rights of crime victims.
