10th Ojai Valley Century Bike Ride
The 10th Ojai Valley Century Bike Ride offers five routes to choose from: metric century, illness full century, pharm double metric century, hammerhead century, and half metric century. Routes include tours out of Ojai and down the Ventura coast. Post-race festivities include a BBQ.
Welcome to the tenth annual Ojai Valley Century Bike Ride. Ojai is a Shangri-la nestled below the stunning mountain views of the Los Padres National Forest. We are fortunate to have the mix of flat, coastal, mountains, beautiful country, and usually good weather all in one place.
We look forward to seeing you on the ride and see why the Amgen Tour of California selected this route four years: Stage #4 (2013) and Stage #6 (2006-2008).
Bicycling Magazine, with readership over 2 million, recommended our ride in their guide to best cycling (May 2009, page 28). In 2012 Active.com named our ride first in their write-up 10 Rides to Do Your Own Tour of California”.
We are striving to make this a ride of choice for the area and solicit any feedback you may have so that we may continue to improve the event each year. We have received many accolades from the event riders. Each year our management team incorporates many improvements to the ride. New this year, the 4 mile section down the coast into Ventura on the Hwy 101 bike lane has recently added K-rail concrete barriers to completely separate bikes and freeway traffic!
