The 13 Souls of Kabul Memorial Run/Walk/Bike event is a no cost event, open to the community, intended to memorialize those that we lost in an attack at the Kabul airport on August 26, 2021. It is also intended to raise funds for the families of two critically wounded Marines in need of help.

This course will cover 13.1 miles along the Simi Arroyo from the Metrolink Parking Lot at 5050 Los Angeles Ave. Simi Valley to Madera Street and back.

The morning will start at 6:45am with speeches, prayer and opening ceremonies, with the run to begin at 7:00am.

THIS IS NOT A TIMED EVENT, rather, a memorial event. Any timing will be done personally. Everyone is encouraged to participate – run, walk, bike, skate, etc., for whatever distance they feel comfortable with; 1k, 1 mile, 3 miles, 5k, 10k or the full 13 miles. In lieu of entry fees, shirts, etc., participants are asked to donate at www.givesendgo.com/13soulsrun.
