Westlake Village, Calif.–The Southeast Ventura County YMCA is hosting its 3rd Annual Reach For The Stars Gala on Saturday, September 21 at 6:00 p.m. at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village. The evening features gourmet cuisine, a live band and silent auction. The event will honor David H. Murdock, CEO of Dole Food Company, with the Joel and Frances McCrea Memorial Award for his long-standing support for the Yarrow Family YMCA that opened earlier this year in Westlake Village. The YMCA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building positive relationships, impacting lives and strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living programs and social responsibility. Proceeds from the evening will benefit Southeast Ventura County YMCA programs including Safety Around Water and Find My Genius through its three branches serving the Conejo and Simi Valleys.
