The multiple award winning film, Sustainable (2017) will be shown Tuesday, March 27, 6:30 at the Universalist Unitarian Church, 740 East Main St, Santa Paula. The multiple award winning documentary, Sustainable, 2017, gives a refreshingly positive perspective to humankind’s relationship with the planet. “A vital investigation of the economic and environmental instability of America’s food system, from the agricultural issues we face — soil loss, water depletion, climate change, pesticide use—to the community of leaders who are determined to fix it.” Sustainable includes a segment about an innovative Amish farmer. It’s a film about the land, the people who work it and what must be done to sustain it for future generations. Discussion afterwards. Event is sponsored by the Social Concerns Action Committee of the Universalist Unitarian Church. Free event. Donations accepted.
