Description:  While the Ventura Gem & Mineral Society (VGMS) regularly sponsors a small local show every March, this isn’t your normal local show!  VGMS has been selected to host a big national show that will dwarf their usual show in size and scope with 100 gem, mineral, fossil, lapidary and jewelry exhibits; speakers & programs; on-going jewelry making & gold panning demos; raffles & silent auctions; 50 dealers; kid’s activities & free resources for teachers.  Proceeds support college scholarships & free educational outreach efforts for schools, teachers, & youth groups.
