Come join members of the Camarillo Police Department and administrators from Oxnard Union High School District for Coffee with a Cop.
The Camarillo Police Department, Community Resources Unit, is proud to partner up with our local Starbucks baristas to host another Coffee with a Cop event. Coffee with a Cop was founded in 2011 by the Hawthorne Police Department to better communicate with their community and discuss topics effecting the public. The Coffee with a Cop events have grown to all 50 states, over 15 countries, and over 5 different languages. We in Camarillo are excited to continue with these amazing public events. This event will feature School Resource Officers (SRO) and administrators assigned to Camarillo High School, Rancho Campana High School, and Frontier High School. We will be answering questions about the upcoming school year as well as addressing concerns in the community.
Coffee with a Cop will be on Wednesday, August 3, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Starbucks located at 5011 Verdugo Way, Camarillo. A simple cup of coffee is a great catalyst to start conversations with your local deputies and people working in our community. Together, we can continue to improve our little town of Camarillo.
