Patience and Fortitude, the two stone lions who have stood guard over the New York Public Library for over 100 years are actually The Brothers Grimm, Will and Jake. An evil witch has cast a spell on them because they always depicted witches as evil and ugly. A professor and his librarian friend have discovered this curse, and a group of kids who hang out at the library have found the professors papers. They work together to try to unravel the curse. But Fairy Tales are Fragile. And if you begin to change basic characters and characteristics of Fairy Tales, will the Fairy Tales themselves unravel? Will Jake and Will choose the ultimate sacrifice and remain these beloved stone lions, instead of giving in to the witch’s demands? And is that so bad?
