    Drop-off events are held the second Friday and Saturday of every month.

    Household cleaners

    Pesticides

    Motor oil/ Oil Filters / Frying Oil

    Electronics ( computers, printers, cell phones, cords, etc)

    Pool Chemicals

    Medication

    Needles/Sharps

    Household batteries

    Auto Batteries

    Fluorescent light tubes

    Antifreeze/ Gas

    Aerosols

    Fire Extinguishers

    Propane Tanks

    Fry Oil

    Asbestos (must be double bagged and wetted down)

    Smoke Detectors

    Thermostats

    WASTE NOT ACCEPTED

    No explosives

    No radioactive materials

    No ammunition

    No compressed gas cylinders (Helium or Oxygen)

    No garbage, cardboard or trash

    No MAPP Gas cylinders

    No tires

    No biological waste

    DO NOT BRING: Explosives, ammunition, fireworks, tires, radio-active waste, infectious waste, smoke alarms, or business waste. The legal transport limit for Household Hazardous Waste is 15 gallons or 125 lbs.

     

    For your safety: Do not mix products together, to avoid spills, pack carefully, seal open containers and place leaking packages in another secure container. If contents are unidentifiable, mark “UNKNOWN”. Keep products in original container if possible. Segregate similar materials in a sturdy box or bag and place in trunk or truck bed. Remain in your vehicle at the site.

     

    Needles/Syringes: Needles or syringes MUST be in a hard container that is sealed. (Containers include sharps container, milk jug, juice bottle, coffee tin etc.) *We cannot give containers back*

    Per DOT regulations the acceptable quantity limits are 15 gallons or 125 pounds. Please make sure your items remain within these legal limits.

    From Camarillo: Travel North on the 101 freeway exit Springville. Make a left on Springville Drive once off of the freeway. Turn right on Ventura Blvd / Verdulera Street. We are on the left.

    From Oxnard: Travel South on the 101 freeway. Exit Central Avenue and make a right on Central Avenue. Turn left on Ventura Blvd. Make a right on Aviador Street and at the end of Aviador Street make a left on Verdulera Street. We are on the right.

    *IN CASE OF EXTREME WEATHER, THE EVENT MAY BE RESCHEDULED*
