Subject: Volunteers needed for large-scale disaster exercise
We have a major event happening on May 2nd for which we need about 600 victim volunteers. I am reaching out to schools, community programs, and organizations to spread the word.
The event is a large-scale disaster training exercise held by the Ventura County Emergency Medical Services Agency from 7 am until 1 pm at Freedom Park at the Camarillo Airport. Both breakfast and lunch will be provided. Volunteers are needed to play the role of the disaster victims. On site, they will receive FAKE injuries and fake blood to dress the part. This event is going to tremendously help our Medical Services improve their response in the event of any future disasters.
We would love your help- please sign up to participate as a victim volunteer and also spread the word to your friends, family members, neighbors or groups to which you may belong as well as the community at large. All are welcome and encouraged to participate!
