This past Saturday was Armed Forces Day. On behalf of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute, we salute all the men and women of the United States Armed Services. You are all heroes. As President Reagan once said, “Today, I want all those wearing American uniforms around the globe to know: America is grateful to you — and proud of you, too.” He concluded, “One last thought for Armed Forces Day and every day: If you see someone in uniform, would you go up, shake their hand, and thank them.”
