“ROUND-UP – A Rockin’ Country Music Extravaganza” will kick off the holiday season with a Buy-One-Get-One-Free Ticket Blitz and Fundraiser on Wednesday, December 4^th at the Junkyard Café, 2585 Cochran in Simi Valley, anytime from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

During this promotion, anyone donating a non-perishable food item will receive a FREE General Admission ticket to ROUND-UP 2014 for every General Admission ticket purchased (limited to four tickets per person).

In addition to the discounted tickets, the Junkyard Café will donate 15% of all food and drink sales generated by the Kiwanis Club/ROUND-UP on this day.

The Buy-One-Get-One-Free tickets will also be available online on December 4 at www.roundupsimi.org

The Junkyard Café offers a wide-variety of unique menu selections and has designed some country-themed specialties including the “Queen’s Potion of The Day”, appropriately named “The ROUND-UP”, which is BBQ chicken and tri-tip, baked beans, corn on the cob, country coleslaw and garlic bread. In addition, rockin’ country music will be heard throughout the restaurant during the fundraiser.

ROUND-UP is presented by the Kiwanis Club of Simi Valley, on April 12, 2014 at the exclusive Hummingbird Nest Ranch.  The 2^nd annual event will once again WOW the community with non-stop country music and fun for everyone!

The inaugural event held this past April drew over 4,000 people and raised nearly $41,000 for Kiwanis charities, which focus on the youth and the needy in our community.

“This December 4^th kick-off is a great opportunity for past and future guests of ROUND-UP to purchase the discounted tickets for themselves and others on their shopping list, while keeping a little extra money in their pocket”, said event co-producer, Kathi Van Etten.
