Local credit union hosts member day on August 7 at county fair
Ventura County Credit Union (VCCU), a not-for-profit financial institution, has been named the Official Credit Union of the Ventura County Fair for the second year in a row.
On Monday, Aug.7, 2017 at Ventura County Fairgrounds at 10 W, Harbor Blvd. in Ventura. VCCU will be hosting Member Day at the Ventura County Fairgrounds. Members of the credit union can receive a $4 discount on fair admission for up to five guests by visiting one of VCCU’s seven branches or onsite day of showing a valid VCCU membership ID, cash only at the fair entrance from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
During the fair, you can find a VCCU booth at the fair entrance on August 2 and 3, as well as Member Day. Booth visitors will receive swag items and information on VCCU’s Lifestyle Loans and Summer of ’17 campaign. Lifestyle Loans give members the opportunity to turn opportunities into a reality by letting people borrow exactly the amount of money they need, when they need it.
