The Ventura Potters’ Guild Ojai Pottery Market Celebrates 65 Years of Handmade Pottery

Get ready to experience the magic of the 65^th Ventura Potters’ Guild Pottery Market June 10 & 11 in Libbey Park, Ojai! This year’s event will feature over 30 talented clay artists showcasing their unique, handmade pottery.

Visitors will be delighted to browse a wide selection of pottery items including mugs, goblets, bowls, casseroles, plates, platters, earrings, necklaces, tiles, planters, teapots, sculptures and much more. With so much variety, everyone is sure to find something they love.

But the Pottery Market is much more than a shopping experience. Attendees can enjoy wheel-throwing demonstrations throughout the day, courtesy of students from the Ventura College Clay Club. Visitors will also have the chance to chat with the artists and learn about their unique creative process from the initial idea to the finished product.

The Ventura Potters’ Guild is a non-profit organization committed to stimulating public interest in ceramic arts. The organization provides education, sales opportunities and networking in an inclusive environment for all levels and interests. Whether you are an experienced artist, an avid collector or just curious about pottery, this is an event not to be missed.

The Pottery Market is a free, child-friendly public event that will be open on Saturday, June 10 from 10 AM to 6 PM and on Sunday, June 11 from 10  AM to 5 PM during the famous Ojai Music Festival.
