Narrative:
On December 18th, 2021, at approximately 12:55 am, deputies from the Camarillo Police Department responded to Las Posas Road, west of Lewis Road for a single vehicle traffic collision.
An adult male driver was traveling east bound on Las Posas Road at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate a turn and left the roadway. The vehicle rolled over prior to coming to rest and the driver sustained fatal injuries in the collision. An investigation is being conducted to determine if drugs or alcohol were involved. The identity of the driver is not being released yet, pending notification of next of kin.
The collision is still under investigation by the Camarillo Police Department Traffic Bureau. Anyone who might have witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Camarillo Police Department at (805)-388-5100.
