Four Thousand Oaks juveniles were arrested after participating in a street fight, in which one of the juvenile suspects produced a knife and stabbed an adult victim in the abdomen and back. The victim suffered non-life-threatening wounds and was treated at a nearby hospital.
On the evening of September 19th, 2023, Thousand Oaks Patrol Deputies responded to a call for service in the area of Avenida De Las Plantas and Calle Tulipan, regarding an adult male victim who suffered stab wounds after being involved in a fight. The victim was unable to identify suspects, however, detectives from the Thousand Oaks Special Enforcement Unit and Directed Enforcement Unit quickly began an investigation which produced evidence identifying all suspects involved.
On September 20th, 2023, Detectives with Thousand Oaks SEU and DEU located and arrested the four juvenile suspects. Search warrants were served at the residence of each suspect, which revealed additional evidence connecting the juveniles to the crime. All the juveniles were booked into the Ventura County Juvenile Justice Center with a court date pending.
