    Gang Member Arrested for Possession of Stolen Firearm, Possession for Sales of a Controlled Substance and a Felony Warrant

    Peter Robledo paroled from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in August of 2020 and is supervised by the Ventura County Probation Agency’s Post Release Offender Supervision (PROS) unit. As directed by his probation conditions, Peter Robledo was issued a global positioning services (GPS) ankle monitor by the PROS unit. On 10/07/2020, Peter Robledo maliciously removed the GPS monitor and absconded from Ventura County Probation. As a result, a felony arrest warrant was issued for Peter Robledo by the Ventura County Superior Court.

    On 10/22/2020, detectives from the Sheriff’s Gang Unit observed Peter Robledo in the 3000 block of Johnson Drive in the City of Ventura. Sheriff’s Gang Unit detectives contacted Peter Robledo and arrested him for the outstanding felony arrest warrant. Incident to the arrest, detectives found Peter Robledo to be in possession of a loaded and concealed firearm, as well as methamphetamine possessed for sales. During a records check of the firearm, detectives discovered the firearm was reported stolen out of Kern County. Peter Robledo is a documented member of a Ventura County criminal street gang and was observed wearing clothing attire known to be affiliated with that criminal street gang. Peter Robledo has previous felony convictions that prohibit him from being in possession of firearms and/or ammunition.

    In addition to the felony warrant, Peter Robledo was arrested for PC 29800 – Possession of Firearm by a Felon, PC 30305 – Possession of Ammunition by Prohibited Person, PC 25850 – Carrying a Loaded Firearm, PC 496 – Possession of Stolen Property, PC 18710 – Possession of Destructive Device, HS 11378 – Possession for Sale of a Controlled Substance, HS 11370.1 – Possession of a Controlled Substance with Firearm, and PC 186.22 – Street Terrorism. Peter Robledo was booked into the Ventura County Main Jail in Ventura and held on $500,000 bail.
