Join us, then, on Friday, NOV 15th at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley for Pepperdine’s 2019 Reagan Lecture with renowned historian and our Reagan Professor of Public Policy, Dr. Bill McClay as he offers the address, “Recovering the American Story: Historical Consciousness and the American Past”.
McClay is the author of the bestselling history textbook, Land of Hope: An Invitation into the Great American Story, and will be arguing for a narrative approach to the teaching of American history that understands America as an exceptional nation.
