Our first post-lockdown event

The shutdown has been a painful period, watching freedoms erode, our economy weaken, businesses shutter, confidence whittle away, and when you add in the riots, the divisiveness and the violence, it’s been a dark time, especially here in Los Angeles.

And it’s been hard on the AFA community too – to be sure, we’ve been active on Zoom,  but we’ve been missing our regular get-togethers over various freedom-related topics.  

But October 23rd we’ll be TOGETHER AGAIN at our favorite venue, the Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel, for what will be a fabulous event! Katie Hopkins, who spoke (here and here) at our Global Freedom Movements conference, who keynoted our most recent Heroes of Conscience Dinner – 2019! and to whom we awarded our AFA Churchill Award – has been traveling the country and we are thrilled that she’ll be our first IN PERSON LIVE EVENT speaker since the two-week-flatten-the-curve shutdown was imposed just a short half-year ago.

We’ll be serving two AFA traditions: the Luxe Mediterranean buffet, and of course, our Bundt cakes! There will also be a cash bar.

The event will be on the Luxe patio, OUTSIDE, next to the ballrooms where we normally meet. We’ll keep you apprised of virus-related mandates as the time gets closer.
