kidSTREAM Children’s Museum adds a new Board Member
CAMARILLO, Calif.– kidSTREAM, a children’s museum based in Camarillo, continues to grow. While the organization is finalizing the work toward the slated expansion of the outdoor playscape on the property that the City of Camarillo is transferring to the nonprofit, key steps of growth are taking place within the organization, including board expansion.
Carina Reeves has joined kidSTREAM’s Board of Directors. Ms. Reeves currently serves as the Chief Learning Officer for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division (NAVSEA), and prior to her role at NAVSEA, served in various positions including serving as the first Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) STEM Outreach Coordinator, the Supervisory Education Specialist for the U.S. Navy Seabee Museum, and in 2017, Ms. Reeves was awarded the American Alliance of Museums Silver Media and Technology MUSE Award for her groundbreaking work as manager of the Situation Room Experience (SRE) at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum.
