Marketing and more: Do you see the warning lights flashing?

By Robin Itzler

When we look back at pivotal historic alignments, we tend to squish everything into a short period of time although it often took decades to go from idea to actuality. For example, the suffragette movement focuses on 1919 as the year women won the right to vote. But the movement considers its launch in 1848 with a women’s rights convention in Seneca Falls, New York. The suffrage movement didn’t end until 1928 when all women could vote regardless of property holdings.

Centuries from now, people might think 2020 was the year the United States moved toward socialism. But it had a hypnotic start in the early 20th century, becoming more pronounced and romanticized in America during the 1960s.

In 1971, Saul Alinsky (known as the “American Joseph Goebbels”) published Rules for Radicals. Socialists knew the only way to realize their dream of a socialist America was through the Democratic Party. While indoctrinating youth at public schools, liberals patiently waited for the perfect opportunity to implement Alinsky’s recommendation that “the threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Liberals found it with the COVID-19 virus.

Alinsky said there were eight levels to gaining socialist control of a nation. Number one on his list was healthcare. He believed that if government controls healthcare it can control people. Is that why former President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi lied their way through passage of Obamacare?

At the beginning…

When the coronavirus first attacked the United States, Drs. Fauci and Birx predicted morgues overflowing with hundreds of thousands dead Americans and tidal waves of patients flooding hospitals. They repeatedly claimed America’s healthcare system would be overwhelmed with sick and dying patients, insisting the only logical step was to lockdown the country to flatten the curve. Within days, most states became ghost towns as people hid at home, only venturing outside in hazmat outfits to quickly purchase food and if lucky, toilet paper.

Soon the curve was flattened along with the economy.

Few people dispute that COVID-19 is a real disease, but more than 98 percent of those who get the virus SURVIVE. Some already had the virus and didn’t even know it. We have destroyed the greatest economy in the world because of a disease that is sadly fatal to less than 2 percent of the population, people who often had other underlying health issues. As Mike Ford wrote in “We Wrecked Our Economy for Nothing” –

As more and more information comes in, we are seeing that this virus is not nearly as infectious as previously thought, and it is far less deadly. When it comes right down to it, this disease is going to end up with a Mortality Rate at or below our annual flu average. For that, we brought direct harm, pain, and suffering to 30 million other Americans.

Moreover, the total number of COVID-19 deaths are questionable. Minnesota Senator Scott Jensen, who is also a doctor, received a 7-page document from the American Medical Association that in his view encourages doctors to overcount coronavirus deaths. The document detailed how to complete a death certificate as a “COVID-19 diagnosis” even when there is no lab test confirming the diagnosis. From Sen. Jensen –

“Right now, Medicare is determining that if you have a COVID-19 admission to the hospital you get $13,000. If that COVID-19 patient goes on a ventilator you get $39,000, three times as much. Nobody can tell me after 35 years in the world of medicine that sometimes those kinds of things impact on what we do.”

Americans are dying from COVID-19, but many others are dying and will die because they can’t have medical procedures that politicians deem non-essential. Or they waited too long because they couldn’t see their doctor for a visit or follow-up. They are also dying from depression, increased opioid and alcohol use. They are dying watching their business and life savings disappear.

Why is anyone still listening to Drs. Fauci and Birx?

As Cheryl K. Chumley wrote in “Coronavirus Hype Biggest Political Hoax in History” –

The new coronavirus is real

The response to the coronavirus is hyped. And in time, this hype will be revealed as politically hoaxed.

In fact, COVID-19 will go down as one of the political world’s biggest, most shamefully overblown, overhyped, overly and irrationally inflated and outright deceptively flawed responses to a health matter in American history, one that was carried largely on the lips of medical professionals who have no business running a national economy or government.

Alinsky would be so proud hearing Govs. Cuomo and Newsom and other Democrats say the virus now allows them to “reimagine” things.

Democrat mayors and governors are taking a very slow track to reopening their cities and states. In protest, Americans are holding freedom rallies, with many risking large fines and arrest to reopen their business.

Dr. Jeffrey Barke, board certified in Family Medicine, is a private concierge doctor and co-founder of PersonalCare. He spoke at the Riverside, California freedom rally on May 5 –

What if the experts are wrong? What if quarantining the healthy doesn’t actually save lives? What if wearing a mask in public is not effective? My name is Dr. Jeff Barke and I’m here representing thousands of physicians across the country whose voices are being silenced because we don’t agree with the mainstream media and the experts who are telling us what to do. Never in the history of this great republic have we quarantined the healthy. Never in the history of this great republic did we tell churchgoers that it’s illegal for you to exercise your First Amendment right of freedom of religion yet at the same time it’s essential to keep pot dispensaries open.

With Democrat leaders earnestly trying to destroy their city or state’s economy, shouldn’t Republican leaders be organizing or at the very least attending and speaking at freedom rallies? After all, the people who voted for them are at these events. Are they afraid?

Suffragettes weren’t afraid

Trumplicans are not afraid to fight back as witnessed by the immense turnout at freedom rallies. Suffragettes were not afraid, otherwise women would still be waiting for the right to vote.

Colonists were not afraid, otherwise we’d all be speaking with British accents.

Abolitionists were not afraid, otherwise cotton might still be picked by slaves.

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of women winning the right to vote, let’s look at what suffragists did more than a century ago, knowing full well the risks involved.

In “Night of Terror: The Suffragists Who Were Beaten and Tortured for Seeking the Vote” Terence McArdle writes –

The women were clubbed, beaten and tortured by the guards at the Occoquan Workhouse. The 33 suffragists from the National Woman’s Party had been arrested Nov. 10, 1917, while picketing outside the White House for the right to vote.

The male guards at the Northern Virginia prison manacled the party’s co-founder Lucy Burns by her hands to the bars above her cell and forced her to stand all night. Dorothy Day, who would later establish the Catholic Worker houses, had her arm twisted behind her back and was slammed twice over the back of an iron bench.

The guards threw suffragist Dora Lewis into a dark cell and smashed her head against an iron bed, knocking her out. Lewis’s cellmate, Alice Cosu, believing Lewis dead, suffered a heart attack and was denied medical care until the next morning.

The suffragists dubbed their treatment Nov. 14, 1917, as the “Night of Terror,” and it helped galvanize public support of the suffrage movement.

Thank goodness suffragettes didn’t sit home issuing resolutions or posting comments. Instead they took to the streets with protests and rallies demanding the right to vote.

Republicans should demand more from its leadership before it’s too late. Facebook, Twitter and YouTube are censoring posts and Democrat mayors are asking people to snitch on fellow citizens who aren’t complying with their politburo-like orders. From New York Mayor de Blasio to Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti to Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, it’s frightening how easily some Americans morphed into socialist sheep! Their excuse: “I was just following orders.”

As Elizabeth Vaughn wrote in “No, It’s Not Heinrich Himmler; It’s Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot Issuing a Warning to Constituents” –

From time to time throughout American history, it’s become necessary for us to fight to preserve our freedom. This is our time. The warning lights are flashing.

I see the lights flashing. Do you? Do our Republicans leaders see the warning lights flashing or are they too busy writing resolutions and posting comments?
