Hello OC Faculty and Interested Parties,
Our first OC Academic Senate meeting for the spring 2022 semester will take place on: Monday, January 24th from 2pm-4pm via ZOOM.
This is a public meeting, and everyone is welcome. I especially encourage all faculty (part-time and full-time) to participate because, at these meetings, the most up-to-date faculty information is discussed. Public comments are permitted at the beginning of the meeting, but each person is limited to two-minutes of speaking time. After the meeting at 4:00pm, I will be available in the same ZOOM room to listen and discuss any items of interest. I plan to be there listening until 4:30pm as long as there is interest. This time is open to all, even if you did not attend the meeting. You will notice in the agenda that we will have several guests and updates and we will begin a discussion about the faculty hiring prioritization process. I encourage all faculty to attend.
