    Oxnard | Narcotics Sales Bust

    Oxnard Police Department – Incident Press Release

    On November 12, 2020, Detectives from the Oxnard Police Department Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) completed an investigation at a residence in the 1000 block of South K Street in reference to a narcotics investigation related to the sale of Fentanyl. During the investigation, detectives observed Jose Soto, 32 year old Oxnard resident, exit the residence and enter a vehicle. Detectives observed a narcotics transaction take place inside of the vehicle. Detectives contacted Soto while he was seated in a vehicle. Soto surrendered without incident and was found to be in possession of Fentanyl. Upon completion of the investigation, Soto was charged with possession for sale of Fentanyl, a felony, and booked into Ventura County Jail.
