Oxnard Police Department – Incident Press Release
On June 6th at 7:35 PM officers from the Oxnard Police Department responded to the 200 block of Cuesta Del Mar reference a fight involving a knife. Once on scene, began checking the area and contacted a subject who tossed an item out of the officers’ view. Officers detained this subject, Jimenez, and checked the area where he tossed the item. Officers located a container containing heroin packaged for sale. They also located a firearm, a .22 revolver, in the same area. A methamphetamine pipe was also located on Jimenez.
Jimenez was charged with several violations, including possession for sale of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of a firearm in a school zone.
