Santa Paula, Calif. – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries as a result of a hit & run traffic collision and the driver fled the scene. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital.
On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at about 11:05 p.m., Santa Paula Police Department officers responded to the report of an injury hit & run accident, vehicle vs. pedestrian, at the intersection of Harvard Blvd. and Palm Avenue.
Upon arrival the pedestrian was located and found injured in the eastbound lanes of Harvard Blvd. Ventura County Fire Department and paramedics arrived and treated the pedestrian. The Victim was transported to Ventura County Medical Center where he is currently hospitalized.
The investigation revealed a white sport utility vehicle was traveling eastbound on Harvard Blvd. when the vehicle struck the pedestrian who was attempting to cross the street at the intersection. The unknown driver of the white vehicle failed to stop at the collision scene and continued eastbound on Harvard Blvd. The pedestrian was a male subject in his 30’s.
