    Reagan Foundation and GE Announce 18 Recipients of $40,000 Scholarships

    In a celebration on June 25, the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute in partnership with GE recognized this year’s class of GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program award recipients. The winners are:

    The eighteen students will receive $10,000 per year for up to four years towards college tuition and room and board. To date, the scholarship program, now in its ninth year, has awarded $7 million to 175 students.

    The GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program was recently cited by U.S. News and World Report as one of four “huge scholarships worth $10,000 or more” that students should seriously consider. The scholarship selection committee evaluated the applicants on four values personified by President Reagan: Leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship.

    Aisho Salim Ali (Columbus, Ohio) will attend The Ohio State University. Jessica Maria Bradley (Hoover, Alabama) will attend Georgia Institute of Technology. Nelson Chow (Lynbrook, New York) will attend Princeton University. Normandie Alise Cormier (Lafayette, Louisiana) will attend Xavier University of Louisiana. Lauren Devletian (Exton, Pennsylvania) will attend Dartmouth College. Nefertari Elshiekh (East Elmhurst, New York) will attend University of Central Florida. Tabitha Lee Escalante (Pemberville, Ohio) will attend Harvard University. Jessi Morgan Figard (Davidson, North Carolina) will attend Carnegie Mellon University. Peyton A. Gomez (Lakewood, Washington) will attend University of Washington. Cade Jenlink (Jet, Oklahoma) will attend Oklahoma State University. Grace Ra Kim (Germantown, Maryland) will attend Harvard University. Emma Lowden(Winterset, Iowa) will attend Central College. Anna Mathis (Harrison, Arkansas) will attend University of Arkansas. Mofeed Nagib (Towson, Maryland) will attend Yale University. Chad Niemeier (Beatrice, Nebraska) will attend University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Gentry Shapland (Dighton, Kansas) will attend Kansas State University. Chibuike Uwakwe (Wilson, North Carolina) will attend Harvard University. Ashley Wilson (Copperas Cove, Texas) will attend Baylor University.
