Newsom’s signature removal campaign fails miserably – only 36 signers removed
Newsom ally and former State Senator Don Perata launched a campaign to urge petition signers to remove their signatures. Due to the overwhelming number of signatures turned in, his effort needed to produce over 225,000 signatures removed in order to nullify the recall. He only received 36…even though he targeted well over 500,000 Independent and Democrat voters.

Newsom Clings To His Executive Power
Gavin Newsom declared a State of Emergency 464 days ago. Much to the dismay of those who prefer a representative government, Gavin Newsom plans to hold onto his executive power indefinitely despite claiming the State is going to fully reopen on June 15th.

Newsom’s wife benefits from pay-to-play no-bid contractors
Newsom’s far-too-close relationship with Sacramento lobbyists comes to light again, as the Sacramento Bee reveals that special interests that lobby the Governor (and receive no-bid contracts) are funding his wife’s salary and film projects.

Mask or Not to Mask – Gavin Newsom is fighting over his own rules
It’s clear Gavin believes his best chance at fighting off the recall depends on voters who believe he is handling the pandemic gracefully, but he is fighting with Cal OSHA over what is safe for businesses.

Cost estimate of Recall election is almost half of what Newsom predicted
As Newsom’s allies in the legislature try to manipulate the recall election date, they admitted the recall election will cost less than half of what Newsom originally projected when his team was telling people it would cost $400 million. It sounds like a bargain when you consider Governor Gavin Newsom’s Employment Development Department misappropriated 31 billion dollars to criminals and fraudsters. In light of the 115 million dollar vaccine lottery, Newsom does not think it is a lot of money either.
