Recognizing the fact that many community non-profit organizations are feeling the effects of covid-19 shut-down, resulting in reduced contributions, the Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks is distributing this week $44,000 to these organizations, said Herb Gooch, club president.
The Rotary Club has been making annual contributions to our local non-profit organizations for decades from the funds we’ve raised at our community supported events, street fair, chili cook-off, and summer wine event, although the chili cook-off has been canceled this year, Gooch said
These organizations need an infusion of cash now, so we are making the following distributions:Â Â Â
Adelante Comunidad Conejo                                                                   Â
Harbor House                                                                                             Â
Lutheran Social Services                                                                                 Â
Manna
Conejo Valley Food Bank                                                                Â

The Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks is appreciative of the community support of our events that make distributions possible, Gooch said.
