Ride for a Reason: Santa Clara River Bicycle Ride with FSCR

Sunday May 9, 2021 9am – 1pm

Friends of the Santa Clara River (FSCR) is hosting a moderately paced bike tour from Santa Clarita toward Canyon County on the Santa Clara River Bike Trail in Los Angeles County. We will bike approximately 12 miles out and back with a lunch stop (or pack your own).

The Reason for the Ride is to explore one of the best bike trails on the River, as we try to figure out the Reason why it doesn’t go out to Ventura County and the Beach. FSCR Chair, Jim Danza, will be leading the ride and will help you get to know the river while we think of ways to make trail expansion a reality.

Helmets and masks will be required. Masks must be worn when social distancing isn’t possible or as directed by our volunteers. Bring water and sun protection. Be sure you are physically fit to complete the ride.

As a COVID-19 precaution, registration will be required ahead of time to limit attendance and for completion of the liability waiver, so please do not show up unless you are pre-registered! For meeting details and to register, click the button below to be directed to our Eventbrite page.
