On Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at approximately 8:11 PM officers from the Port
Hueneme Police Department responded to a call of a shooting in the area Port Hueneme
Road and Surfside Drive.
When officers arrived on scene, they discovered bullet casings in the roadway and no victim. A short time later, officers were able to locate a victim, who was not injured during the shooting.
Officers canvassed the area and were unable to locate any further evidence related to the shooting. There were no signs of damage to any other property or vehicles. Suspect is described as a younger male Hispanic. There are no suspects in custody at this time.
