    Simi Valley | Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off Exceeds Projections

    At a recent household hazardous waste drop-off event in Simi Valley 160 cars from the region deposited 11,800 pounds of collected waste for disposal. This represents more than twice the average amount seen at these types of events. I thought, given the COVID-19 pandemic, you might like to highlight this online or in briefs; as you know, proper disposal of waste from around the house such as antifreeze, car batteries and propane tanks has never been more critical.
