Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release
On 02/07/21, local transient Madison Miles entered the Shell gas station at 1120 E. Los Angeles Ave. Once inside, he walked behind the register counter and confronted the clerk. Miles put his fists up and told the clerk to give him various items.
Fearing he would be assaulted if he did not comply, the clerk told Miles to take whatever he wanted. Miles proceeded to take several perishables and exit the store. Officers contacted Miles to the rear of the business and took him into custody without incident.
Miles was later booked at the Ventura County Main Jail for robbery.
