Haines Security Solutions was founded in 2009 and specializes in three areas within the security industry. First, we provide training to architects, engineers, facility managers, planners, security professionals and others involved in the design of new buildings or renovations of existing facilities. Our focus is on taking a softer approach to security engineering by providing mitigation strategies that are just as effective as traditional methods yet are less aggressive and intrusive in nature. Our approach and Physical Security Engineering Training and Certification program (PSET&C) was identified as the Best Security Education Program in Homeland Security in 2017 and received a coveted Platinum ASTOR Award. ‘

The PSET&C is part of the International Centers of Security Training Excellence. The ICSTE provides a framework for companies world-wide to offer training through member companies at a reduced cost, while providing training in a variety of security fields with an emphasis of quality. Secondly, we provide subject matter expertise in interpreting conflicting DHS, DOD and Veterans Administration security guidelines to architecture and engineering firms. And thirdly, we conduct vulnerability assessment and risk analysis using two proprietary methodologies that assess the physical security of high occupancy spaces and their supporting energy systems. Our Asset Based Risk Analysis (ABRA) received a Platinum GOVIE Award in 2017 for Best Government Security Risk Analysis and our Critical Asset and Infrastructure Risk Analysis (CAIRA) received a Platinum ASTOR in 2018 for Best Homeland Security Risk Analysis Methodology.
