Narrative: On the above date and time, Ventura City Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire in a residential area.  First arriving fire units found a fully involved single family home with all residents out and Ventura Police Officers evacuating adjacent homes. Firefighters initiated suppression efforts and extinguished the fire 20 minutes after arrival on scene. Two additional homes were initially threatened by the fire but were unharmed because of the fire suppression efforts.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. 4 adults and 1 child were displaced as a result of the fire. No firefighters were injured as a result of this incident.
