Tamale Tuesday – December 10th at Revive Community Church

It is time once again for this year’s Christmas Shoppe, and Revive Community Church couldn’t be more honored and blessed to host this event for the 3rd consecutive year.
In preparation for this year’s shoppe, we are hosting a special fundraiser taking place next Tuesday December 10th at RCC from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. We are calling this night “Tamale Tuesday”, borrowing the amazing concept from our dear friends at Waffle Wednesday.
This is how it works: We will be collecting toys, receiving monetary donations, or online giving as well. Once you give in any of these forms, you will receive your tickets to enjoy delicious homemade tamales, hot apple cider, hot cocoa, or coffee, and a wide variety of pastry selections from our dessert bar.
In addition, we will have Christmas music courtesy of Kevin Murcia from Radio Oasis 107.9, an arts & crafts table for kids, a cookie decorating table for kids, mingling and networking with all our guests, and the opportunity to meet Santa himself.
All toys collected and funds received will benefit underserved and under resourced families in El Rio and throughout communities in Oxnard.
A very special thank you and recognition to our sponsors this year who have contributed with a monetary donation and/or toys: County Schools Federal Credit Union, Act 4 Finance, GEM Mortgage, Dignity Memorial (Funeraria Del Angel), PHP- People Helping People, Radio Oasis 107.9, Action, Revive Community Church, Todd Ross (Waffle Wednesday), Toys for Tots, and Friends of Field Workers (Judy Lucas)
So come out, support this cause, and help us be a blessing to those in need.
    See you on Tuesday!
