VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Judge Anthony Sabo sentenced Tim Ray Gautier (DOB 06/21/65), of Thousand Oaks, to 50 years to life in prison for the murder of his wife, Gina Gautier, on January 11, 2021. On September 21, 2021, a jury found Gautier guilty of first-degree murder along with a special allegation that he personally used a firearm to cause his wife’s death.
At approximately 6:48 a.m. on January 11, 2021, a residential surveillance system captured audio of Gautier retrieving a firearm during an argument he was having with his wife.
