Two Juveniles Charged in Ventura Robbery and Carjacking
VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that robbery and carjacking charges were filed against two juveniles who were involved in a carjacking incident in Ventura.
On December 2, 2021, at 11:30 p.m., a group of teenagers demanded money and attacked a 46-year-old woman as she stood outside her vehicle in midtown Ventura. Two of the juveniles then drove away in the victim’s vehicle. A short time later, the driver crashed the victim’s vehicle into a tree. Ventura Police Officers detained the two juveniles at the scene of the crash before they were transported to local hospitals due to injuries they sustained in the crash. The victim was also transported to a local hospital for treatment of the injuries she suffered during the attack.
Both minors are currently in custody at the Ventura County Juvenile Facility.
