    Narrative:

Fire units were dispatched to a reported vehicle into an occupied structure. Units arrived to find a damaged structural wall of a carport caused by a vehicle collision. Fire crews made an assessment and determined that temporary shoring was needed to provide structural stability to the wall. By building the shore, firefighters along with city of Ventura Building and Safety ensured that the residential apartments above the damaged wall could safely remain occupied by residents. This was particularly important given the current cold weather. No injuries were reported from the vehicle collision and Ventura PD was investigating the exact cause.
