Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release
On October 10th at 4:50PM, the Ventura Police Department Command Center received a 911 call of a vehicle driving recklessly in the 3300 block of East Main Street. Ventura Police Patrol Officers responded to search for the vehicle and located it in the 4200 Block of Market Street. The vehicle was determined to have been reported stolen in Oxnard. Officers conducted a stop on the vehicle and took the driver, Angel Perez, into custody without incident. During the investigation, officers determined that Perez was under the influence of alcohol.
Ramirez was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, driving under the influence of alcohol, and an outstanding felony warrant.
