Ventura Police Department – Incident Press Release
On April 24th at 12:47 AM a Ventura Police patrol officer observed a possible stolen vehicle in the 1300 Block of Saratoga Ave. A records check confirmed that the vehicle was stolen from Thousand Oaks. The patrol officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and safely detained the driver, Paul Coronado, 28 years, Oxnard resident, with the assistance of additional officers.
Coronado was found to be in possession of burglary tools and was driving on a suspended license as a result of DUI offenses. He was arrested for 10851 VC unlawful driving of a stolen vehicle, 466 PC possession of burglar’s tools, and 14601.2 VC driving on a suspended license for DUI offenses.
