On 06/21/2019, Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s West County Narcotic Street Team concluded a month long narcotic investigation into the narcotic trafficking activities of Ventura resident Sheala Bruns by executing a search warrant on her person, vehicle, and residence.
On 6/21/2019, narcotic detectives contacted and detained Bruns in the carport area of her residence while simultaneously executing a search warrant on her residence located in the 10900 block of Del Norte Street, in the city of Ventura. As a result of searching her residence and vehicle, detectives seized methamphetamine and heroin possessed for sales, several digital scales, U.S. currency and paraphernalia indicative of narcotic sales. Additionally a 45 caliber handgun, high capacity magazine, and ammunition were seized from the residence.
Bruns was arrested and booked at the Ventura County Main Jail for numerous narcotic and weapons violations. Her bail was set at $50,000, which she posted. Bruns’ next scheduled court appearance is set for July 9, 2019 at 8:15 am in Court Room 12.
The West County Street Team is comprised of Narcotic Detectives from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, the Oxnard Police Department, and the Port Hueneme Police Department.
