Simi Valley Police Department – Incident Press Release
During the evening hours of July 17, 2021, Simi Valley Police Department Officers responded to a residence on the west end of the city for a report of a domestic violence incident. Through the investigation it was determined that the suspect and victim were in a dating relationship, but did not live together. The victim advised that the suspect, Adam Clark a 44 year-old transient from northern California, pushed and choked her during one incident and then entered the residence, uninvited, on another incident after threatening to harm her. The victim also advised that Clark pulled her back into the residence after she attemped to exit.
When Officers arrived on scene, Clark retreated into the residence and refused to exit after multiple requests. Clark was eventually taken into custody with the assistance of a Simi Valley Police Department K9. Clark, who has an extensive criminal history, was booked at Ventura County Main Jail for domestic violence, criminal threats, burglary, false imprisonment, and resisting arrest.
